The DeSoto ISD Board of Trustees and District Administration invite the school community to participate in the public hearing on the 2022-2023 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) for DeSoto ISD scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., in the Boardroom of the DeSoto ISD Instructional Support Center located at 200 Belt Line Road in DeSoto. The TAPR public hearing will be held at the top of the monthly school board business meeting agenda. 


This annual report card data focuses on the performance of the district, based on student assessments. 

During the public hearing, members of the community are invited to make public comments and ask questions regarding the Texas Public School Reports for DeSoto ISD following the district’s presentation.

The TAPR public hearing occurs at the second of the two February DeSoto ISD school board meetings. The first meeting, the Data Monitoring Progress meeting, is scheduled for Tuesday, February 20. During this meeting, the district presents an update on its board goal progress measures and celebrates its student achievers related to the goal.

Public comments are welcomed at the DeSoto ISD Board meetings. As a reminder, those interested in speaking during the regular board meetings MUST pre-register by completing and submitting a public comment speaker card in person before the start of the meetings. All cards must be placed in the receipt box on the dais in the boardroom before the meeting’s opening.
