As we approach the end of the school year, we kindly ask for your help in returning all school-issued devices, including laptops, power cords, and Chromebooks, to the DeSoto ISD Technology Department. It is essential to account for and properly maintain these devices for future student use.

Returning the devices allows us to:

  • Conduct inventory checks and assess their condition.
  • Prepare for any necessary maintenance or repairs over the summer.
  • Ensure all students have access to the required technology when classes resume.

Please remind your child to return their device(s) to the designated drop-off location at the district Information Technology department at 616 Eagle Drive (across from the library) at DeSoto High School.

We understand the inconvenience if your child's device is lost or stolen. To address this, we have set up a convenient payment portal for device replacement at the district's [PAYMENT PORTAL]. This portal allows parents to conveniently pay for missing laptops, power cords, and Chromebooks. If district-issued devices are not returned, a charge will be incurred for the missing item. Student-issued devices must be returned by Thursday, June 6th. Please deliver the devices to the DeSoto ISD Technology Department at 616 Eagle Drive, across from the high school library. Technology staff will be available to accept devices daily from 9 AM to 2 PM.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your student's device return, the status of the return, the amount owed, or how to use the payment portal, please reach out to the DeSoto ISD Technology Department at 972-274-8040 or via email at [email protected]. We are here to help.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your ongoing support of your child's education.
