DeISD welcomes Dr. Xavier Lewis as the new principal of Ruby Young Talented and Gifted Academy.

DeISD trustees approved the appointment of Nicole Lyons as the new principal of Curtistene S. McCowan Middle School.

DeISD will host a job fair for the 24-25 school academic year from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the DeSoto ISD Belt Line Conference Center located behind the district’s administration building at 200 East Belt Line Road in DeSoto.

The DHS school community is invited to a program-focused showcase around the Triple-A Experience--the district’s well-rounded and holistic approach to education centered on Academics, Arts, and Athletics at 5:30 pm on August 1, 2024, at 600 Eagle Drive in DeSoto.

District staff will engage in neighborhood walks to build relationships with community members and families starting Aug. 2 through Aug. 9 , ahead of the first day of school.
